  • Helmets are required for all adults and children using pitching machines.

⚠️ General Cage Rules

  • 2 people max inside a cage/tunnel (unless supervised by a Freedom Performance Trainer, PDSA Coach, or Team Coach).

  • No one allowed behind cages for any reason.

  • Always be alert — watch for people near nets or in front of cages.

  • Before entering:

    • Waiver signed

    • Reservation complete

    • Checked in on the WHITE iPad

⚡ Pitching Machine Safety

  • Helmet required for all batters and machine feeders.

  • Adults feeding machines must wear helmets too.

  • Children under 8 are not allowed to use pitching machines.

  • Only 1 batter + 1 feeder in the cage at a time.

  • No horseplay or unsafe behavior — violations = immediate removal.

  • Machine balls only:

    • Use only balls marked with red & blue stitching and a red “P.”

    • Using other balls may damage the machine — violators will replace damaged balls and may lose facility access.

  • Never load the machine while someone is behind the batter.

  • Ensure the batter is ready before pitching or feeding the machine.

👥 Team Rentals (3+ Athletes)

  • Waiting athletes must stand against the wall, away from nets.

  • Team coach must have on file:

    • Signed Facility Use Agreement
